Gold will rise in the land of Bundelkhand
Mahoba Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that the land of Bundelkhand will rise in gold in the coming days. The Arjuna tributary canal project will have a major role in it. The development that Bundelkhand was looking forward to, it should get that right.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was addressing the gathering present on Wednesday after conducting a terrestrial inspection of the Lahchura Dam of Arjun Sahayak Project in Mahoba district. The Chief Minister said that the Arjun Sahayak Project costing Rs 2600 crore will bring prosperity in the lives of about 1.5 lakh farmers of Mahoba, Hamirpur and Banda districts. It will be released soon by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This project, built on the river Dhasan, will provide irrigation to the farmers of 168 villages of Mahoba, Banda and Hamirpur and pure drinking water to four lakh people. Irrigation facility will be provided in an area of 15,000 hectares. Under this project, 44381 hectares of irrigation new irrigation capacity is to be expanded.Culture and tradition of river India: CM Yogi said that river has been the basis of India's culture and tradition and sacred source of water. We have worshiped like Ganga Maiya by giving Mother's address to every river. According to the country and the situation, each drop of water should have been planned. But after independence, the erstwhile governments did not make any effort regarding this. Even if some plans were made, shortage of funds came in the way. The Chief Minister said that we are thankful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he did not allow any shortage of funds in any project with the PM Agriculture Irrigation Scheme.
My special attachment with Mahoba: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that I have special attachment with Mahoba. This is the land of valor, the land of faith. Many of the features here connect us to spiritual and historical traditions. With the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is doing fast development work here. Earlier governments had denied 168 villages here with irrigation facilities and four lakh people with drinking water facilities. The plans here had been pending for many years. Now we are working on several levels for the overall development of this region. Projects such as expressways, defense corridors and water life missions will take Bundelkhand to new heights.
Half the diseases will be overcome with pure drinking water: The Chief Minister said that half the diseases will be eradicated automatically with pure drinking water. In Bundelkhand, we are providing water from every household tap under the Jal Jeevan Mission. During this, the Chief Minister ridiculed the Minister of Water Power, Dr. Mahendra Singh, that for a time people considered him as the Minister of Hand Pump but now they are realizing the power of water. The Ministry of Jal Shakti is working to bring prosperity in the lives of people through irrigation, drinking water, tubewells and hand pumps.
Local youth will get employment in Jal Jeevan Mission: CM Yogi directed the officials to formulate an action plan to train local youth in plumbing after meeting with public representatives. This will provide employment to the youth of the village under the Jal Jeevan Mission. The Chief Minister also encouraged the officials and public representatives to get the schools rejuvenated through the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) fund of the institutions. The Chief Minister extended the best wishes of Mahashivratri and Holi to the people of Mahoba district. Bharatiya Janata Party State President Swatantra Dev Singh, Water Power Minister Dr. Mahendra Singh, Mahoba's Minister in charge GS Dharmesh, MP Kunwar Pushpendra Singh Chandel, MLA Rakesh Goswami, Brij Bhushan Rajput, Additional Chief Secretary Jal Shakti T.
