New lighting system of North and South Block, 16 million color styles

The
special lighting system of the North and South Block buildings will now
be transformed into a new dynamic lighted lighting system, for the
fixed 8 days of the year running and for a few hours every night. A new one which will be a new experience of observing its beauty.
This
new dynamic blueprint will be made in the area of 21,450 per square
meter, which will be filled with a mix of 16 million amazing colors. It will display a wide color style and content in the night with changes of colors every few seconds.
The
launch of this new innovative lighting system started by the Union
Public Works Department of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs,
for these two prestigious buildings, will be inaugurated by the Ministry
of Home Affairs's Multi-Work Staff (MTS) in North Block on Wednesday at
6.00 p.m. ) Will be by pressing the button by Mahipal Singh.
This new lighting will be organized for the media and the general public. This
new lighting system will be held from 7 am to 5 pm full time and the
main time of lighting will be 8 to 9, with full capacity. The
insufficient lighting facility will be available between 7 PM to 7:30
PM and from 10 PM to 5 AM electricity load will be 25% and the remaining
power will be 50% in the night.
This
new lighting system is organized using RGB LED technology, with 40
kilometer bright energy and data cabling, with its centralized
computerized control, automatic selected color combinations, timed, slow
and switching on and off, etc. through the internet based controller. Will be accompanied. This new lighting system is fully capable of extending the architectural features of these historic buildings.
Which is a great combination of Indian and British architecture. Apart from this, it will increase its splendor, introduce new colors for the visitors. Use
of triangular beam angles of narrow, medium and wide degrees in this
new lighting system is desirable to show the faces, premises, central
dome, place of flagging etc.
These electrical appliances have an external lens which is capable of making changes in the beam angles in place. There is an underlying ability and versatility to choose different color themes and schemes on special occasions. The
benefit of this new system will be specially available on certain
occasions like Independence Day, Ganatantra Divas and some national
festivals.
The present lighting system is spread over 16,750 square meters. The
annual savings on the replacement, maintenance and operation costs of
this new lighting system spread over 21,450 sq. Meters will be 86.40
lakh rupees. The life span of new LED light fittings is more than one lakh hours, which is 25 years.
While the life time of the lights being used at this time is 10 thousand hours. With
the use of LED metal heliides and sodium vapour light fittings
currently, the conventional lighting system consumes 17 lacs of energy. Every year, with the new lighting system energy consumption is Rs 8.40 lakhs. Is per year.
All
these new light tools have been made with the advanced shape of the
highest order (IP-66) to prevent dust, insect pest and
moisture-resistant and outdoor weather. They match the international regulatory framework of all environmental and technical parameters (ROHS, UL and CE).
The lighting provided by them will not have any side effects on sand and stone structure of North and South Block buildings. Special attention has been taken to save the heritage character of these prestigious buildings. All the lighting equipment, in the open or in front of the lawn ground or on the roof.
Informing
the Ministry about the efforts made by the CPWD for the concept, design
and execution, the Minister said that initial investment of Rs. 15.40
crores for this new lighting system will be received in only 6 to 7
years. After this the system will be completely free. Under
the current lighting system, fifty thousand three-watt LED bulbs are
being used for special lighting on eight occasions in one year in the
straps on the walls of prestigious buildings.
For
this lighting system, 170 lamps of 400 MW / 250 MW metal heliide and
sodium vapor steam lights and 72 LED lights have been used for security
lighting. This new dynamic lighting system is equipped with 800 fittings.
