University Power House of Progress of New India

   Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu said that in the speeches of the President, there is repeated talk of education. For them, education is a medium of empowerment. He wants our universities to be a power house for progress towards a new India. He remains optimistic about scientific institutions.

 

  The Vice President said that books of speeches chosen by the President are a compilation of his wisdom. Quoting from the book on India's resolve to protect the sovereignty of the country, the Vice President said that India has always upheld the values ​​of peace and cooperation. He warned that those who attacked India would be given a proper response. 

   Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu called on people to play an active role in removing social evils such as untouchability and gender discrimination, expressing concern over social evils. He said that there is a need to bring together the best talent, ideas and innovative capabilities available in the country to ensure inclusive and sustainable development.
   The Vice President was releasing two books 'The Republican Ethic' (Volume-2) and 'The Voice of Democracy' (Volume-2) on select speeches of President Ramnath Kovind at the Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra in New Delhi. 

   The Vice President said that India stands at the turning point of history from where it can take a leap towards inclusive development while facing major challenges and obstacles. The Vice President said that maintaining values ​​and policies in public life is important for the people. He said that President Ramnath Kovind about this and my thinking is same. 

   The Vice President said that he has seen the essence, vision, ambition, hopes and nature of the nation in the President's addresses on several occasions. They have clarity of thought, ability to analyze. In all the speeches of the President, whether it is addressing the names of the nation or traveling abroad or education, there is a synergy in all. Shri Naidu said that the President always reminds us of the contribution of the Annadars i.e. farmers, scientists, professional people and brave soldiers. 

   The Vice President said that in the speeches of the President, there is talk of education repeatedly. For them, education is a medium of empowerment. He wants our universities to be a power house for progress towards a new India. He remains optimistic about scientific institutions. The Vice President said that as a lawyer, the President is conscious of the powers and challenges of the advocacy profession. The President believes in social change through constitutional methods. President Kovind emphasizes the ability of the legal profession to deliver justice to the poorest of the poor. 

   He said that the President expects a high level of resolution from the officials, as the officials play an important role in providing the fruits of democratic constitution to the people. He said that Mr. Kovind has inspired hundreds of young officers of various services to provide social justice. 

   The Vice President congratulated the Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar and his team for publishing the compilation of speeches of the President. Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thawarchand Gehlot, Information and Broadcasting Secretary Amit Khare and Principal Director General of Publications Department Smt. Sadhana Raut and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
