Rooh Ro Roi service between Ghogha to Dahej
Gujarat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first phase of Ro-Ro (Roll On, Roll of) Ferry Service between Ghogha and Dahej.This
ferry service will reduce travel time between dhogha and dowry in south
Gujarat in Saurashtra for just about an hour, from about seven or eight
hours.
The inaugural first stage is capable of movement of passengers. This ferry service will also be enabled for the movement of vehicles when fully operational.The Prime Minister inaugurated the best cat food feed of Shri Bhavnagar District Cooperative Milk Producers' Union Limited.

Addressing a large gathering on this occasion, the Prime Minister
said that he is happy that he is personally in Gujarat to give New Year
greetings. He
said that this program, organized to start the ferry service between
Ghogha and Dahej, is very important for the whole country. Referring to the first round service of its kind,
the Prime
Minister said that it was a dream of the people of Gujarat who have been
fulfilled.He said that the history of human civilization reflects the lifestyle of rivers and marine trade. He said that Gujarat is the land of Lothal, how can we forget these aspects of our history.
The Prime Minister said that this program is a program to bring
back our glorious past and connect Saurashtra with South Gujarat. The
Prime Minister said that the people of these two areas have plenty of
movement and this ferry service will save them a lot of time and fuel.
The Prime Minister said that during the last three years Gujarat's development has been given great importance. He said that there is quite a long coastline in Gujarat and we should take advantage of opportunities to meet him.He said steps have been taken to develop coastal infrastructure.
He said that this ferry service will not be limited to only one route. He said that other places would also be linked to ferry services.He said that making the transportation sector integrated and sophisticated is the goal of the Central Government.
The Prime Minister traveled between Ghogha and Dahej in its first service. During this visit, he was given information about the ship and ferry service.They also talked to the children of Divijangan while climbing the ship. Addressing a gathering in Dowry, the Prime Minister said that the approach of the government is the port for prosperity.
He said that India needs better ports and more ports. Without proper connectivity the economic development of the country becomes sluggish. He stressed that the government is concentrating on the port infrastructure.
The
prime minister mentioned the government's emphasis on the blue economy,
which he said was an integral part of the new India's approach.
