Rescue Driver's Safe Driving
New Delhi. The
Trauma Care Division of Directorate General of Health Services,
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare celebrates World Traffic Day to
comply with road traffic rules and emphasize the need and importance of
protecting people's prized possession of people due to accidents in
India.
As
a part of the special awareness campaign, all the participants took a
resolution to promote safe driving and safe road culture. The participants were shown video on road safety and responsible and kind citizen. The concluding ceremony concludes with distribution of informative notebooks to all the participants.
The
experts of this subject related to the Ministry of Road Transport and
Highways and the Ministry of Health interacted with the participants and
about what they should do and not do about road safety, and regarding
responsible and compassionate citizens (Good Samaritan) guidelines.

doctor Jagdish Prasad said that it is unfortunate that more people die
in road traffic accidents compared to deaths of malaria, tuberculosis
and HIV, but we prefer to ignore this silent epidemic. He also said that road traffic accidents can be completely stopped.
They
also appealed to all the participants to comply with traffic rules, to
avoid the use of mobile phones while driving and to promote healthy road
behavior.
